The Majestica Resource Pack development team designed a fresh experience within Minecraft themed around a fantasy and medieval world. The new design of the Minecraft world gives a brand new gaming experience and will have you immersed in a world, unlike the Vanilla experience. Gamers can state that this pack has some features that appear similar to the style of famous fantasy games like Skyrim or other Elder Scrolls games. The development team knows many resource packs of this style exist, but they chose to take some of their favorite features and pack them into the game in order to create a fresh medieval atmosphere. Some of the textures resemble the Vanilla ones, while others have a new level of design and detail that makes them appear more realistic and true to the theme of the pack. Medieval and fantasy-themed packs actually have different aspects to them. Some fantasy packs might be filled with bright colors and increased resolution textures. Medieval resource packs are somewhat opposite, making textures with darker, dirty designs and with overall vibes of a dimly lit world. It can be a challenge to introduce elements of both of these ideas into one defined resource pack, but the team behind the Majestica pack has done exactly that.
The developers have stated that the resource pack is set to be actively updated as Minecraft continues to update and upgrade. Some of the features are set now as the game has been updating with newer items and blocks while remaining true to the long-time default textures. The design of the resource pack is still in its development phase, where some textures and designs are finalized, while the developers are still testing the optimization of others. You will find that while many of the designs of the blocks follow the standard medieval dark stylization, there are also blocks that have popping colors that give you that element of fantasy behind them. As mentioned before, it is the combination of these elements that makes the Majestica resource pack unique from others like it. The more detailed textures of this resource pack are set at the 32x resolution version of Minecraft. This means that there is a more demanding resolution in the game and could cause some performance issues for those that are playing with outdated PCs.

- Download this resource pack. – You should download a ZIP file
- Now launch Minecraft and go to Options. – Make sure to open Minecraft: Java Edition
- Click on the “Resource Packs…” button.
- Drag and drop downloaded ZIP file into Minecraft window.
- The new resource pack should be in your “Available” list of packs.
