Luna HD is a very popular resource pack. It aims to make the textures and blocks more realistic and improve the overall look. This pack comes in 4 different resolutions: 32x, 126x, 256x, and 512x. You’re going to need OptiFine to run it so it can load the textures, but don’t worry, it’s going to be worth it! The overall look of it is jaw-dropping. When you get the best version of this resource pack and combine it with SEUS shaders, BSL Shaders, or Sildur’s Vibrant it just looks amazing. Additionally, they also made multiple blocks into 3D blocks to change the textures, which just look amazing. I especially loved the leave blocks and crafting table. For the leaves, they’ve made it feel look bushy, and the tools in the crafting table are 3D models now. And even if you’re a Bedrock player, you can still enjoy this resource pack. The owner has made an RTX version for it, too!
While all this sounds great, it has a few flaws. First things first, you’re going to need a beefy computer to get the most out of it. Since I didn’t have a powerful PC, I couldn’t load SEUS shaders, as the game always crashed. That meant that some textures just didn’t look great! For example, the emerald texture looked like a simple green circle. A thing to mention as well is that you’re going to have to pay for this pack. You could get a free 32x resolution one, but trust me, it’s going to look better with the higher resolution ones. Overall, if you don’t have a powerful computer, I can’t recommend it to you. But if you do, then this is a must-try! The difference it makes to your Minecraft world is amazing, and it feels like a next-gen game!
