Traverse a land overrun by nuclear war with landscapes ravaged by nuclear blasts and radiation. This high-resolution themed resource pack creates a whole new visual experience for Minecraft. Many of the familiar post-apocalyptic resource packs within Minecraft operate at high resolutions and can be extremely demanding for computers of all types. With the Last Days resource pack, the development team has been working to develop a gaming experience with a resolution similar to default Minecraft that won’t overrun your PC’s power. Last Days had initially begun as an outstanding idea that had huge potential to take the resource pack community by storm, but was unfortunately abandoned by the developer of the pack. Later, a team of fresh developer eyes took on the task of completing the resource pack in all of its glory. These new developers took to the task of making the smoothest running post-apocalyptic resource pack available.

Gamers might recognize some of the similarities in design and creativity from famous games such as Fallout, Resident Evil or Rust. The post-apocalyptic feeling of the game is reinforced heavily by the refreshed visuals of the game. The textures and designs of blocks all have a muted and low-coloring appearance that brings a dim and dark experience when out navigating the wasteland. Combined with lighting and other shaders, you will have a completely new visual experience. Immerse yourself into the dark post-apocalyptic world with new block designs and all. You can expect that all building block textures have been remade in order to made for a better experience and a more immersed apocalypse experience. New weather systems create the feeling of nuclear winter, acid rain, and more. The environment is truly upgraded in order to make for a nuclear wasteland vibe. The lighting is darker and more ominous and will have you checking your surroundings at all times. Some block designs have completely changed with the textures and coloring being nearly completely removed. This makes for the bleak visual experience of a worn-down society that was ravaged by nuclear war.
